# `translation.sources_invalid`

A translations folder's sources record cannot be read.

Area 10, [Configuration and time](../topics/configuration-and-time.md); not declinable; the next step is usually the agent's.

The record in a `translations/` folder says which wording each translation was made from and who accepted it. Jadpo writes it, and a stale or unaccepted translation is judged from it, so a file Jadpo can't read hides both.

```jadpo
// Generated by Jadpo from this folder's translations; update it with `jadpo translations update`, never by hand.
record translations 1
translation de_de.hello was made from Hello, {name}.
```
